Teaching at Universidad de Oviedo from October, 1997. She got her PhD at Universidad de Oviedo in February, 2002. From 2007 she is an Associate Professor of Marketing. She was a member and coordinated the Seminario de Estudios de Comercio de Asturias (SECA).
She authored several research books and has collaborated in several Marketing textbooks. She has also participated in several national and international Conferences. She published articles on Marketing and Commercial Distribution in prestigious journals like Asia Pacific Journal of Marketing and Logistics; Cuadernos de Economía y Dirección de la Empresa; Distribución y Consumo; Estudios sobre Consumo; European Journal of Marketing; Internacional Journal of Entrepreneurship and Small Business; Investigaciones Económicas; Investigaciones Europeas de Dirección y Economía de la Empresa; Journal of Targeting, Measurement and Analysis for Consumer; Revista de Economía y Empresa; Revista Española de Investigación de Marketing; Revista Europea de Dirección y Economía de la Empresa; Revista Asturiana de Economía; Revista Internacional de Economía y Empresa (Economic and Business Journal).
Her papers correspond to her research interests: Commercial Distribution, Sales Promotion, IT, Consumer Behaviour. She has taught seminars at national universities and private organizations. She has reviewed papers for several national and international journals. Professionally spekaing, she has consulted public and private companies in Commerce and Marketing.
